When to Choose a Low Ankle Safety Shoe
A low ankle safety shoe is cooler and easier to wear than a boot through a long shift, and easier to drive and kneel in. It suits warehouses, logistics, workshops, factories and facilities work, and S3 low ankle shoes are accepted on many construction sites where the HSE plan does not ask for ankle protection.
- S3 with a Kevlar layer, Runner, Jumper and Jogger: a 1,100 N non metallic Kevlar puncture layer, EVA midsole and nitrile rubber outsole, with HRO and antistatic markings.
- S3 with a steel plate, 3303 and 1105 Cruz low ankle: a 1,100 N steel mid plate and a double density PU sole; the 1105 Cruz is antistatic.
- Lighter duty, 2205: EN ISO 20346 with a 100 joule toe and a steel mid plate, from AED 42 a pair.
